Hello there. As you can see by my screen name that I am nostalgia.
I'm usually not very good at these things but I assume you're supposed to say a few things about yourself. Uh, I am a fantasist, armature writer, musician, and I have a bit of an obsession with indie music and bands. Boy bands, especially.
So that was me, I suppose. Hello.
Finally! It's the end of your senior year of highschool. However, just to keep memories flowing, you and your group of friends decide to go camping out of your homestate, New York. However, after the camping ends, the group may decide to stay together and go on another 'adventure', or disband. However, there is a spark of romance between the friends. Will you and your lover find lives together? Or will it end before the summer itself ends? This is your story, with your ending.
one - general
as always, the wcrpg rules apply here
two - characters
now for the characters. you do have to play both a boy and a girl, just to help make it even. also, they must be in the age range of 17-19. please, no perfect characters as that is just boring.
three - forms
I want your forms to be informative, as they will be your ticket in. I would prefer them to be a bit prettied up, though it doesn't have to be insanely so. I want to see no less than five or six lines in the personality and history section, though more is always encouraged.
four - reservations
if you would like to make reservations that's cool, but there isn't really all that much of a character limit, so you really don't have to.
five - literacy
this is a semi-lit roleplay so I expect to see five lines (basically a small paragraph) or more each post, and will only allow three for wb - though this excuse will not be used every time. for spelling and grammar I would love it if you were to at least try to use both correctly, which means limited spelling and grammar errors.
six - other
please no spamming or god-modding on the roleplay, alright? and no arguing or anything like that in ooc either. I really don't want to see this thread locked, okay? c:

[color=black]Welcome to the apocalyptic city of New York. Only about a month ago the virus started spreading, yet already more than half the population fell to infection. The infection spreads from bites, and possibly more. Relatives have fallen, but you managed to survive. Luckily, you weren’t alone. You and another seven people managed to group together in order to survive. Continuously, you try to search for other survivors along the way. Will you work with the team and remain alive, or will you break apart from the others and lose all of your hope?

personality, sage is not your average twenty year old. he is incredibly book-smart, yet lacks the ability to socialize with others. however, this has never been that much of a problem due to his close group of friends. the boy is highly intelligent, he has always been a logical thinker, and excels at mathematics and physics; but is still topped his class in chemistry, biology and english literature. the boy is incredibly curious, but in a cautious way; he's not one to adventure out to find knowledge, he'd much rather read a book about it, or search the web for the answers he's interested in. sage is, unsurprisingly, a very insecure person. the boy was bullied for a majority of his schooling life, and has always been under a lot of pressure from his parents to excel. failure was never an option when he was growing up, and so he believes that he has to do right by everybody else - and always puts others before herself. sage is, therefore, a complete pushover - he makes it far too easy for people to walk all over her.

We've all got our own story. Nobody can ignore the fact that we've all gone mad couple times.
Being your age, it's even harder. As a teenager, there is almost too much pressure in your life.
Some teenagers cannot take it anymore, and give up; all the way. They just end their story.
But some have chosen to take a chance and continue their story... still mad though. There is
always a way to stop the madness is your life. You just have to figure out how to do so... it
can however be very challenging to stop this madness. Some teens have had to go to a mental
hospital where they could get help. Your parents have decided that you are stable enough so they send you to a camp just outside Malibu, California. It's supposed to be a bonding experience to help you realize that there are people who are stressed and different like you. Have fun.
